As Summer vacations are going to be upon us soon, and many lucky folks will be jumping on a plane for some wonderful getaway (we hope your visit back home is considered wonderful!), we thought it would be a good time to post about parking at the airport. If you plan on parking in the extended / long-term lots, do not head off without a quick search for coupons online. Park N' Fly often has specials and your own airport authority lots likely do to. For example, here's a coupon for 29 cent per hour parking at the YVR long term lot (works out to $49.95 / week) and it's good 'til September 8th, 2010. It's a simple search and could save you lots. For example, Home Depot offers several FREE How-to workshops each month, including; install a pavestone walkway and install ceramic tile. They even offer women's only do-it-herself workshops. And for the novice gardeners, places like Garden Works offer FREE seminars on Sundays at 1pm, including; vegetables and fruit for containers and growing herbs for the kitchen. A free seminar can pay off big if you're uncertain of what you're doing, trust us, mistakes can end up being more costly in the long run!
