Wishing everyone a very, very Merry Christmas from our family to yours. We will be taking a few days off from deal hunting to enjoy the holidays with family.

#10 - Grow Your Own Garden

From the smallest herb garden in your home, to a full blown veggie patch in your backyard, growing your own is a great way to save money and go green. Look for organic seeds or swap with friends and neighbours to save even more. If you have no yard but would like to start your own garden look into local community gardens (rent a plot you plant and harvest). And, if you're an avid gardener growing more than you can eat look into the Plant a Row - Grow a Row program to share with your local food bank.
