Beware - Try to charge additional shipping after sale

I made a purchase on this site. Received an invoice for my purchase. Then received an email asking for more money in order to complete the sale.

I do not believe this is legal, but at any rate is a poor business practice. At worst, this is a scam. Either way I think this should be removed from Mother of A Deal so that other people are not taken in.

Thanks for letting us know about the shipping issue. The sale is over but we'll leave this post up, maybe they'll respond to it with an explanation or it might just be a good warning for folks in the future. Thanks again!

Issue Resolved

Thought I should post an update to the situation.

After several back and forth emails, the issue is resolved. They did try to claim that the extra charges were legitimate, but backed down when it was obvious that I expected them to honour our original contract. I think in the end they are new to the online selling world and their site is not set up to charge the shipping appropriately on large orders.

I would not buy buy from them again however, as I don't think a customer should have to deal with such hassles. I am an avid online shopper and this is the first time I have experienced such as issue.
